CECILE HELENE DION (nee POTVIN) Suddenly on November 4, 2018, Cécile Dion (nee Potvin) passed away at her home at the age of 83. Cécile worked as a nurse throughout her life and she cared for those around her. "Tante" was never happier than when Michele, Jeff and the girls came to visit from Cold Lake, Alberta. She leaves to mourn her passing, her daughter Jacquie and son Marc. Memorial service will take place 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Rossbrook House or Koats for Kids. Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • What a lovely lady! I will certainly miss our little chats and giggle. Cecile always had a kind word for me - mostly it was about my very sparkly jewellery - which I insisted she should bring hers out and wear it. She very generously supported my son when he was going on his band trips and made a point of asking about him. In spite of all her aches and pains - she never complained and always had a smile and a kind word. It was my privelege to have been a part of Cecile's life and brighten her day just a little bit. - Posted by: sheila selluski (front desk at Dakota House) on: Nov 13, 2018

  • Sending hugs and lots of love to you and Marc at this very sad time. Your mom was full of love, and there was no doubt how much she loved her family (along with the fur babies throughout the years as well). I bet your dad was just waiting for her in Heaven and the two of them are together now forever. - Posted by: Kathleen Barrett (Friend) on: Nov 11, 2018
