Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOUGLAS RAYMOND MCCUTCHEON November 3, 1934 - November 6, 2018 Douglas R. McCutcheon passed away peacefully, at home, on November 6, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 84. He is survived by his loving wife Pauline, who were married in 1954. Beloved father of two sons, Doug, Darren, and predeceased by his daughter Karen Bodner. Missed by his sisters, Flo Lagen of Regina, Saskatchewan, Melore Davies of Ottawa, Ontario, Kathleen Joyce McClelland of Chilliwack, British Columbia, and son-in-law Chris Bodner. Loving son of the late Harold and Catherine McCutcheon. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Douglas' life began in the small town of Wapella, Saskatchewan, after which he travelled to Brandon, Manitoba to complete his education. He worked in auto parts with Sharps Ltd., other places of work were Piston Ring, Great Plains Honda, Birchwood Honda, and Winnipeg Honda where he retired in 2001. Douglas and his wife loved to travel together: Venezuela, Acapulco, Rome, Venice, Puerto Rico, Bermuda, Hawaii, Tucson, Arizona and Mazatlán, just to name a few. Douglas enjoyed golf, five and ten pin bowling, camping and fishing with family, playing bingo, cards, carpet bowling and shuffle board with the residents at the senior's residence. It was Douglas' wish to personally thank all the residents who checked on him and would like to give a special thanks to Cheryl Helm for her care, support and for always being there for him.
