MYRNA CHARLOTTE EICHHORN (nee ENGLISH) September 3, 1942 - October 31, 2018 Passed away peacefully on October 31 with her family by her side, at the age of 76. She will be lovingly remembered by those who knew and loved her. Predeceased by parents, Frank and Jeanne English, her brother Gerald English, sister Loretta Nowicki and her loving husband of 45 years, Paul Eichhorn. Survived by her sister Val Pernsteiner, daughters, Heather (Tom) Hyde, Audrey (Ron) Dudych and Kathy (Ron) Mason, grandchildren, Jessica (Shad) Bauschke, Kaitlan (Craig) Schreyer, Christian and Dylan and great-grandchildren, Georgia and Jackson who she loved dearly, nieces and nephews and extended family. Myrna was born in Portage la Prairie and raised in Lavingham and Winnipeg. She held many jobs that she enjoyed until she had her three children. Myrna returned back to work in 1972 and worked a total of 37 years until she retired in 2012. Mom's first priority in life was her husband and family, and especially fond of her visits with her girls and visits with her new great-grandchildren that she truly treasured. Mom loved her social visits with many friends and those she met at the mall. Music and dancing was a huge part of Mom's life that she enjoyed along with playing the piano and guitar. The family wishes to thank all our friends and family for their love and support. We would also like to thank the staff at Deer Lodge Centre for all their care as well as the caring staff at the Grace Hospital. A celebration of Myrna's life will be held at Seasons Funeral Chapel on Saturday, November 24, at 11:00 a.m., 576 Balsam Crescent in OakBank. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or CancerCare Manitoba. Rest in Peace Mom, you will forever be remembered in our hearts!
