JUDY DIANE WYNTERS (née CHRISTIE) September 6, 1947 - November 9, 2018 In the wee hours of Friday, November 9, 2018 Judy passed away peacefully, in her sleep, at the Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home, at the age of 71 years. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Terry; daughters, Deanna (Mark) in England and Trina in Winnipeg; grandchildren, Elianna and Joshua in England; sisters, Janice Christie Chezick (Harvey) and Joyce Christie; nephew Jason; sisters-in-law, Olga, Hilda and Cathy; brother-in-law Randel, nephews-in-law, Colin, David, Darryl and Dale; nieces-in-law, Lisa and Tara, and all of their families. She was predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Pauline Christie; mother-in-law Mary; and brothers-in-law, Al, Ted and Walter. Judy was born the middle child of three children and grew up in the Fort Garry area. She was a beautiful, loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was loved by all. She enjoyed her life, spending as much time as she could with her family and friends. Judy made many friends with her infectious laugh and keen sense of humour. She was a homemaker and her family came first. She loved Terry's homemade meals and BBQ's, even in the winter, as well as many camping holidays and family road trips. Judy taught floral arrangements in Winnipeg, and ceramic courses in Saskatoon. While in Saskatoon, she enjoyed the friendship of Joanne, Pat and Gail. In Ottawa, Pat and Judy had many other additional gal pals. The family would especially like to recognize the friendship that longtime friends Pat Roshka and Joan, as well as more recent friend Peggy Kowalchuk, provided to Judy throughout her life. Judy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
