Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS FRANKLIN TALBOT Thomas Franklin Talbot passed away peacefully, after an eleven year battle with cancer, on November 12, 2018 in the Charleswood Personal Care Home at the age of 80 years. Thomas was born August 21, 1938 to Frank and Margaret Talbot (nee Watson) in Winnipeg where he has resided since his birth. He worked for Manitoba Highways for over thirty years. He is survived by his sister Beth Burt (Robert) of Fort Myers Beach, Florida; nephews, Ian (Dessa) Burt and Kyle Burt of Minneapolis, Minnesota; great-nephew Liam Burt and great-niece Nora Burt, also of Minneapolis. I grew up across the back lane from the Talbots. My dad, Henry Mycan, lived there up until six years ago. Tom was always a very kind, and considerate neighbour. Thomas was a kind and thoughtful man who had many life experiences and stories to share. On one of my last meetings we had a few years ago he went to great detail to tell me of the battle that he was having ridding racoons from his garage. His family home on his river property was his life. It was a privilege to have known him. Sincere condolences.
