"Gogi" as he was affectionately monikered was one of the more colorful aquaintanances to have attended the U of W during our time. I attended the Celebration of Life yesterday and I could feel the love all around, and admired how succintly his family expressed there love and gratitude to their dearly departed father. Sad to hear of Richards's passing. It's been many years since the early MYC days where we worked together and as a valued teammate with the Broadway Golden Buzzards ball hockey team. One of the truly good guys. Condolences to his family. - Posted by: Doug Anthony (old friend) on: Nov 20, 2018

I’m shocked and saddened to hear of Richard’s passing. We worked together at MYC for many years, we had a lot of laughs in what were sometimes difficult situations. Such a great guy. RIP - Posted by: Dave (Co-worker) on: Nov 19, 2018

Richard was a long time friend. After moving to California, he wrote and stayed in touch with Brian. They lost touch after our family moved east to Montreal and Toronto. He was a good friend and we are saddened in his loss. Our deepest sympathy to his family. - Posted by: Brian and Denise Holloway (Friends) on: Nov 18, 2018

To my dear Richard, great neighbor and good friend, thank you for the memories. Barry and I will really miss having coffee and conversations out in the front yard with you. I'm going to miss helping you out with your yard, seeing the happy look on your face when the flowers bloomed, and showing you all the vegetables you let us grow out back. We always enjoyed helping you out in any way we could, and vice versa. I'm really going to miss you my friend more than you know. In my heart I know you are in a better place.........God's Speed dear friend! - Posted by: Sue Barkley (Friend and neighbor) on: Nov 17, 2018
