LISE (ELISABETH) DAUDRICH With love and sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of our dear wife and mother Lise Daudrich (nee Friesen) on November 18, 2018 at the age of 86. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 65 years, Harold; her four children, Terry (Cathy McDougall) Daudrich, Cheryll (Gary) Goldstein, Debbie (Robert) Hewson, Lorna (Dieter) Kuhn; also, grandchildren, Vicki, Kurt, Shawna, Chris, and Stephanie and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Jaydyn, Gunnar, Ava, Lincoln, and Lyla. She is survived by two sisters, Phyllis (Herb) Peters and Anna (George) Dyck; brother-in-law Leonard Bayer. Lise was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Maria Friesen; her sisters, Agatha (Charles) Fremming and brothers, Peter (Annelie) Friesen, and Jakob Friesen. Lise was born on November 6, 1932 and grew up in Ste. Elizabeth, MB. Moving to Winnipeg in 1959, ultimately retiring to Nutimik Lake, with Winnipeg becoming her final home. Lise was a person of faith and loved Christian music. Her years at Nutimik Lake were filled with the things she enjoyed most, hiking, X-country skiing, canoeing, nature, and time spent with visiting grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted Thursday November 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Rowandale Baptist Church, 162 Rowandale Ave., Winnipeg. To the staff of Donwood Personal Care Home we say "Thank You" for the love and kindness you gave to her. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Donwood Personal Care Home or Camp Nutimik.
