MARGARET SUSAN ENGLISH (nee PRITCHARD) Peacefully on November 25, 2018 at St. Boniface Hospital, with her family at her side, Margaret passed away after a short but courageous battle with a hereditary liver disease. She will be missed by Dave, her husband of 51 years and their children, Jason (Michelle), Colleen (David Fletcher) and grandchildren, Scott and Brooke. Margaret was born in Carman, MB. Margaret was a strong supporter of her children in all their activities and she greatly enjoyed being a grandmother. Margaret became a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in 1975. She was honoured to have been a Worthy Matron in three different chapters and to have been chosen as an appointed grand officer on two separate occasions. She experienced many years of enjoyment with the O.E.S. members in Canada and the United States as an attendee at their annual sessions. Margaret was also a member of the Charleswood Legion Ladies Auxiliary. The entire family extends their sincere thanks to Dr. Battad and Dr. Cudmore and all the many wonderful and dedicated staff of the St. Boniface Hospital 6E Internal Medicine Unit. At Margaret's request it will be a private interment. As well, as per Margaret's wishes, flowers are graciously declined with contributions in her memory being directed to the Eastern Star Chalet, 525 Cathcart St., Winnipeg, MB R3R 0S6. • Dear David, It is with deep regret that Natalie and I received the sad news of Margaret's passing. This must be a very trying time for you and your family and our thoughts are with you as you confront the many changes in your journey of life. It is fortunate that you have your family nearby to support each other in these most difficult times. We certainly appreciated meeting with Margaret on our many visits within The Eastern Star. Natalie and I appreciated both your friendships and for Margaret's contribution to our Order Of The Eastern Star. Natalie and I are conveying our deepest sympathies to you and your family and ask that God be with you to give you all the strength needed as you meet the days ahead. We appreciated knowing Margaret and the memory of her will be with us forever. Until we meet again. Natalie and Fred Chernoff - Posted by: Natalie and Fred Chernoff (Friends) on: Nov 27, 2018

  • Margaret was a very dear friend whom I shall miss - my own late Dad used to say life was unfair and when I last saw Margaret in late July all was seemingly well, but fate was most unkind to Margaret in recent weeks. My deepest sympathy to David, Colleen, Jason and grandchildren on their loss which I share. - Posted by: Anna Maria Magnifico (Friend and colleague) on: Nov 27, 2018
