Budhni Chandar was a beautiful soul who walked this earth for 82 years. She had taken many forms – a daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She lovingly served so many people selflessly. She was precious in so many ways and was reveered as such with her call name, Aunty Gold. Her soul radiated from her mortal form. Her personality, her character and her integrity were commendable. Above all, her warmth, kindness and her beautiful smile melted the hearts of many. In her truest form, she empowered people to excel. With her magnetism and her positive outlook on life, she inspired people to reach a greater level of success. She had an uncanny ability to give anyone compassion with her unconditional love and understanding. Further more, she just knew when to offer guidance and when to offer a sympathetic ear. This great woman had the respect of everyone. She raised eight children while ensuring they received an excellent moral upbringing, good education, and strong work ethic. Essentially, she instilled the importance of being a good human being. She was the living example of a Dharmic life. The only comfort I may offer to all of you today is the knowledge that this great soul touched many hearts. Now she can freely join her husband, Uncle Rohit Chandar in their after-life. On behalf of the Katwaroos and Gledsons, we offer our heartfelt condolences and together we offer our prayers: May the Lord grant strength and courage to the surviving members of Chandar family. To all relations and friends, may the Lord grant us the ability to give comfort to the bereaved. May the Lord bestow everlasting peace to the departed soul. To many, she will forever be their Aunty Gold. Rest In Peace, Aunty Gold. - Posted by: Harry Katwaroo (Family Friend) on: Dec 03, 2018
