Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA MARIA FRANCESCHETTI December 23, 1926 - November 25, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved beautiful mother. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Claude (Vesna), Dino (Cathy) Adriano (Janice) and daughter Ines. Her grandchildren, Anthony, David (Christie) and Sarah, Laura (Cristian), Craig and Michelle (Trevor). In Italy, her sister Maria and brother Antonio Staltari (Luciana), plus nephews and nieces, Paolo Staltari, Paolo, Pia, Luciana, Fausto, niece Maria Febbo, brother Carmelo and husband Eddy. In Winnipeg, brother-in-law Gregorio Cantafio and his children, Domenic (Vivian), Mario, Paul, Roberto (Trish), Anna (Tony), Connie and Tony (Angie) Zinghini and many great-nieces and nephews. Anna was born in Gerace in the province of Reggio Calabria, Italy. Anna came to Winnipeg in 1954, where she was reunited with her two sisters, Domenica and Immaculata. The three sisters did everything together with their families including countless dinner parties and talked on the phone several times a day. It was then that she met her husband, Antonio and they shared 62 years together until his passing on October 1, 2018. Anna was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who taught her family by example on what the real meaning of unconditional love is combined with an absolute faith in God. Mom was an amazing positive influence on her family and greeted everyone with lots of hugs and lots of baci. She was kind, generous, loving with a supportive nature, always laughing and singing her favourite Italian songs around the house. Anna enjoyed cooking, baking fresh bread and her signature pizza filled the neighborhood air with love. It gave her great pleasure to share with her family and friends. She was selfless in her generosity and nothing made her happier than to see the faces of her grandchildren who she loved to make sure ate lots of her perfect spaghetti. Special thanks to the staff at Donwood Manor for all the care given to our mother. All their love and support is greatly appreciated. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Rest in peace Mom and Nonna, you will be dearly missed. Until we meet again, XO For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit www.chapellawn.ca Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 204-885-9715
