Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUSSELL KENNEDY Russell (Russ) Kennedy passed away suddenly at the age of 86, on November 28, 2018, at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Russell worked as an optical lab technician for 47 years. He enjoyed camping with his family his entire life. He was an avid sports fan and loved his church family. He always had time to talk with anyone even if he only knew them for a minute. Russell was born in Portage La Prairie to Olive and Earl Kennedy. Russell is survived by his sons, Keith Kennedy of Port Moody, British Columbia and Donald Kennedy of Lethbridge, Alberta; sister Doreen Stack of Winnipeg; brothers, Harvey Kennedy of Winnipeg and Murray Kennedy of Calgary, Alberta; grandchildren, Evan Kennedy and Paige Kennedy, as well as several nieces and nephews. Russell was predeceased by his parents, Olive and Earl, his brother Raymond, two sisters-in-law, and his brother-in-law. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, with Pastor Bruce Logan officiating.
