ALWEINA STEINBRENNER It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Alweina Steinbrenner on December 8, 2018. Alweina is mourned by her children, Glenn (Roslyn), Brenda (Tim) and Wendie; grandchildren, Kyle (Robyn), Cole, Brynne (Daley) and Hillary, Amy (Nick) and Katelyn (Hesham), Marin and Dorian; and great-grandchildren, Magnolia and Adaline, Nicholas and William. Alweina was born Alweina Sontag on April 8, 1935 in Morden, Manitoba. She was married to Ted Steinbrenner in 1955 and they were married 61 years until his passing in October 2016. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting and crafting. She also loved to cook and bake for family and friends. The funeral will be held at Calvary Temple - A. H. Argue Building, 400 Hargrave Street on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. There is free parking on the north west corner of the parking lot at Notre Dame and Hargrave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Meadowood Manor Foundation Inc., 102-575 Anne's Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 5B2.
