Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHERBERT OTTO JENTSCH Peacefully on December 11, 2018, Herbert passed away at the age of 95. Herb was predeceased by his wife Olga (Fillip), his parents, Albert Otto and Emma Jentsch and daughter Valerie. He is survived by daughters, Lynne, Cheryl (Peter) and granddaughters, Jennifer (Chancey), Jillian (Adam) and great-grandchildren, Alex, Lauren, Hunter, Eli and many nieces and nephews. Herb was born in Veregin, SK and moved to Winnipeg as a young boy, where he was educated and apprenticed as an auto body mechanic. Herb served in the First Canadian Parachute Battalion during the Second World War and upon returning to Winnipeg, he opened Zephyr Auto Body, which he operated until his retirement. Herb was an avid Winnipeg Blue Bomber fan and loved spending time at the family cottage at Falcon Lake. We would like to thank the staff of Kildonan Personal Care Home for their compassionate care during the last three years. A private interment has taken place.
