Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGIUSEPPE CIULLA August 24, 1942 - December 10, 2018 It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our Dad, Nonno, and husband, at the age of 76. He was predeceased by his parents, Santo and Carmela; brothers, Liborio and Filippo (Giuseppina) Giovanni (Francesca); sister Franca (Liborio); and brothers-in-law, Filippo Guarnaccia and Filippo Monica. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 51 years Maria; children, Carmelina (Mike), Angela (James), and Linda (Plineo), grandchildren, Nikolas, Jenelle, Stephanie, Christopher and Miguel. Brothers, Vincenzo (Maria); sisters, Sarina and Borina; sisters-in-law, Concetta Ciulla, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, and sister-in-law, and friends in Sicily, Mexico and Winnipeg. Born in Pietraperzia Sicily in 1942, immigrated to Winnipeg in 1966 where he met and married the love of his life Maria. Dad worked at Freed & Freed for most of his working career until retirement in 2003. Our Dad's passion was his garden. Everyone who knew him, knew him for his extravagant gardens and his prized cucuzza (squash). But his greatest loves were his grandchildren, his daughters and his wife. He was always thinking of his girls, and dropped whatever he was doing to help them in anyway they needed. He loved driving his grandchildren to and from school when needed. As crazy as he drove us at times, we could always and still do laugh at all his 'Joe-isms'. Dad loved to travel with his family, with trips to Italy, numerous trips to Mexico, and he loved his quick spontaneous trips to Grand Forks. Dad, we love you and will miss you for the rest of our days. We promise to look after mom. Rest in peace dad-Nonno. Riposa in Pace The family will receive condolences at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave., Rev. Father Sam Argenziano presiding. Entombment will follow at a later date. Pallbearers are his grandchildren, Nikolas, Stephanie, Jenelle, Christopher, and Miguel, and his nephew Santo Ciulla. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Giuseppe's memory to the charity of your choice. For online condolences or to light a memorial candle please log on to www.mosaicfunerals.ca
