Mom was born on January 10, 1926 in Oaklake, MB. She met dad at a Westminster Church dance and they were happily married for 66 years. Mom and dad made their home in Crescentwood where they raised their family. Mom was a stay at home mom and volunteered many hours at Harrow United Church. Dear Joy,Tom,Donald ,Marlene,Heather,Bob and all your beautiful families. My sincere condolences at this very sad time. Mrs Pontifex was a tower of strength to me in my youth and she was a very positive role model . I remember our camping at West Hawk Lake as if it were yesterday and Mr and Mrs Pontfex cleaning the blueberries together at the picnic table. I will miss your mums smile and sincere love of life as she was certainly an incredible person. I am so happy to have known her. Peace be with you all.
