CIRIACO SUNGA May 14, 1936 - December 7, 2018 On December 7, 2018, Ciriaco Sunga passed away at the age of 82 at the Health Sciences Centre. Born and raised in the Philippines, he migrated to Winnipeg in 2003. He loved exploring Winnipeg, playing solitaire and enjoyed a cup of coffee with friends. He is survived by his wife Magdalena, children, Adelaida (Francisco) Bagang, Homer (Lourdes), Adeline (Alex) Alegro, Ronaldo (Marlyn), daughter-in-law Evangeline Sunga, Romeo and Agnes (Wayne) Calibo. He was predeceased by his son Raul, sister Luceria Manalang and brother-in-law Genaro Manalang. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, his nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The family extends their gratitude to Dr. Kansara and his team at St. Boniface Cancer Care Department and the staff at the Health Sciences Centre GD4 and RR6. Lamay/Viewing will be held on Friday, December 21 at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Lamay will commence at 6:00 p.m. Vigil Prayers at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Father Rainerio Sarce officiating. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church, 836 Arlington St., Winnipeg, MB. Rev. Father Rainerio Sarce presiding. Interment will take place at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
