Left to adore her memory are her loving husband of 42 years, Ron, daughter Paula (Kevin), son Michael (Darcie), and her precious grandchildren, Damian, Marqus, Carter, and stepgrandchildren, Corissa and Kyra. She leaves behind her beloved sister Brenda (Rheal) and brother Jim (Linda) along with many nephews, nieces, in-laws, extended family and friends. Pattie was predeceased by her parents, Lorne and Melba Carter. Pattie was born in Birtle, Manitoba on March 17, 1957, and was raised in Lac du Bonnet where she found the love of her life Ron and they were married on June 25, 1976. Together they raised their children and until her passing she worked side by side in their family business Ron's Backhoe Inc. Pattie was best known for and will always be fondly remembered for her ability to selflessly help family and friends from hosting many holidays and events to sewing wedding attire. Some of her favourite things included the infamous Tropical Family Vacation, Sunday brunches, camping, indulging in a good book and enjoying a scary movie, but mostly just being proud of her children and their families. The family would like to express their appreciation to the medical team at the Health Sciences Centre and to Dr. Bruneau for their stellar care and compassion. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide, Although we cannot see you you're always at our side. Thinking of your family so often, since we left the hospital, only to see that Holly at Seasons looked after your mom as she looked after mine. Caring thoughts going your way As you move forward. Ronnie, Mike and Paula, no words can express the feelings of shock, and how sorry we are for your great loss. Memories of being high school friends, being close neighbours, raising a few glasses and then raising babies and teenagers. I will remember you Pattie.
