She will be missed and always in the hearts of her loving husband Alvin Sookermany of 47 years, her daughter Andrea McKenzie (Brian), her son Alan Sookermany (Sjana), her stepsons, Don Sookermany (Meredith) and Courtney Sookermany (Bonnie). She will be missed and loved by her grandchildren, Tre, Justyce, Braxton, Gabriella, Amélie, Jacqueline, Keanu, Kenya, Cody and Garrett and by her great-grandchildren, Jaz'aya, Ah'Ryzen and Aimee. She will be remembered by her brothers and sisters, Richard, Claire, Annette, Dennis and Armand and all extended family. She was born on September 30, 1943 in Winnipeg and resided in St. Boniface where she met her husband. She worked with the Federal Government where she retired and then enjoyed the remainder of her life with her husband, family and pets in Cooks Creek, MB. She enjoyed reading, gardening, canning and playing cards with her family. She was an avid bowler. She was always a positive woman and loved everyone unconditionally. Funeral service to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27 at Green Acres Funeral Home. Don't cry for me Don't cry for me, I will be okay. Heaven is my home now And this is where I will stay. Don't cry for me I am where I belong I want you to be happy and try to stay strong. Don't cry for me It was my time. But I will see you some day on the other side. Don't cry for me I have no fear. All my pain is gone, and Jesus took my tears. Don't cry for me This is not the end. I'll be waiting here for you When we meet again.
