WILLIAM PETER BALICKY December 12, 1935 December 18, 2018 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Bill peacefully at home. Left to mourn his memory is his loving wife Jeannine of 58 years; sons, Todd (Brenda), Brett (Shannon); grandsons, Cody (Ali), Brenden (Carole), Austin and Jared. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Peter. Bill was self-employed owning Bill's Speed Centre, B&B Mini Motors and Bison Dragways, retiring in 1994. Bill and Jeannine enjoyed many wonderful years boating on Lake of the Woods and as a member of the Flying Fishermen for 39 years, they enjoyed many family fishing trips. Our family is grateful to the Dr. Salem, Dr. Park and St. Boniface palliative care for their compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations to CancerCare Manitoba would be appreciated. In keeping with Bill's wishes, there will be no service. GREEN ACRES Funeral Home and Cemetery (204) 222-3241 Condolences may be sent to www.greenacresfuneralhome.com

The last time I talked to Bill was at his speedway where I had my first experience with dragsters. Bill was another one of those really good guys at Glenlawn. Many people will join me in his family's sorrow. - Posted by: Murray Parker (School mate) on: Dec 22, 2018
