He was predeceased by his second son Michael. His parents, Etta and Edwin raised him in Eriksdale, MB, where he became an avid curler and outdoorsmen. After he obtained a business degree and gained some work experience, he founded his own company with partners, later selling his interests to fund a new one with family. He was recognized by the province for his work with economic development, young entrepreneurs and Manitobans with disabilities. He remained engaged in his work and hobbies right to the end of his life and will be missed by all. Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eriksdale Rec Centre. The family would like to thank those who have offered support, as well as the medical and nursing staff at the Health Sciences Centre (in particular the B3, D4 and H7 units) for all their efforts. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the MS Society, 100-465 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg, MB R3T 1L8, or the Health Sciences Centre Foundation, PW112-700 William Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0Z3. Terry was an inspiration to me as we sat on municipal council together for four years. Terry was proactive in every thing he did. Never giving up, but always going forward. He will be missed greatly in this community for his contributions and the growth that has taken place. It was a privilege to work with him. My condolences to you Fran and your family.
