  • Dear Mrs. Temple, Brad and Paula, I am sorry to hear of the Wayne's passing. Although I haven't seen your family for many years I can truly say with all my heart he was a great man in which I have many fond memories, whether it was hanging out with Brad at 59 Minikada Bay, after hockey games as East End Arena, water skiing at Betula Lake, trip to Disneyland or finally figuring out how he beat me at cards all the time, these are just some of the memories that I will never forget. My deepest sympathies. - Posted by: Tim Austin (Friend of the family) on: Jan 03, 2019

  • Joy. We are very sorry to hear this news. Wayne was such a wonderful person. This was very shocking - Posted by: Ken and Mary Ronyck (Friends) on: Dec 30, 2018

  • We've known Wayne for 10 years. He and his wife, Joy, have been the best neighbours imaginable. They are more than just neighbours though. They are good friends. Wayne was always there to lend a hand, share a joke, chat about the lake, his boat or hockey. We called upon him more than once to get his expertise about electrical issues. We saw him interact with his grandchildren and he was clearly one of those granddads that would be the envy of any child. Our thoughts are with you Joy, Paula/Tim, Brad/Patti, Mac & Summer. Wayne will be deeply missed. - Posted by: Jo-Anne and Carolee (neighbors) on: Dec 30, 2018

  • I met Wayne when working out at Dorsey station way back in the late 1960s. Later on at the Health Sciences Centre in the electrical department. He was a good man to have on your team. We also enjoyed curling and badminton together and a couple of cool ones afterwards. Rest in peace old chum. - Posted by: David Robertson (co worker and friend ) on: Dec 30, 2018

  • A gentle kind man that will be greatly missed. Noah has many fond memories of his summer visits riding from the Pound cabin down to Grandpa Temples as soon as he was old enough to ride a bike (sometimes without telling his mother!) RIP Wayne. Lots of prayers to the Temple family. - Posted by: Cowan (nee Pound) family (POB) on: Dec 29, 2018
