FLORENCE MARIE SUL With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mom and mother-in-law, Florence, at the age of 95 years on Friday, December 28, 2018. Florence was predeceased by her beloved George in 1991, their daughter Elaine in infancy, her parents, Lucie and Louis Ritchot, her siblings, Pete, Alice (Charley), Toni (Adelard), Marie Louise (Garnet), Terry (Johnny), Rita (George), Marie, Marie Jeanne, Mary (Ralph) and Larry. She is survived by her daughter Valerie and son-in-law Rick whom she loved so much, her sisters-in-law, Stella Ritchot and Mary Sul, and many nieces and nephews. Florence was born on December 3, 1923 in Ste. Amelie, Manitoba and grew up in Laurier, Manitoba. She married George on November 18, 1943. They moved to Sudbury, Ontario until the end of the Second World War when they returned to Winnipeg, residing in St. Boniface/Norwood for their remaining years. Mom was employed at Eaton's mail order until its closure. Florence was a devoted wife and mother. Family was everything to her. She never complained; she was a strong person, making the best of every situation, even when times were difficult. Her faith in God helped her through her life. Special thanks goes to Jeannette Lavallee, Nicole Crevier, Celine Filion, Jack Rolls, Joanne Heshka, Kathy and Jim Lounsbury, Wendy and Gerry Dubuc, Doug Ritchot, and Jody Black for all of your kindness, love and help since Mom had her stroke. Thank you to the wonderful staff on 4BC and later 3ABC at Tache Centre for your excellent care of Mom. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald Street, with Father Armand Le Gal, omi presiding. Donations in Mom's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. We will never forget you and the wonderful love you always had for us. We love you and miss you.
