Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEVERLEY ELAINE ARVIDSON (nee JOHNSON) December 8, 1944 - December 30, 2018 Elaine Arvidson, aged 74 years, of Selkirk, MB, passed away peacefully at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre, with family by her side. She was predeceased by her father and mother: Gutti and Helga Johnson. Elaine is survived by her husband Bill; children, Kris (Sherry) and Britt; and grandchildren, Zoe and Kaitlyn. Elaine was born in Winnipeg and raised in Gimli. After being stricken with Vasculitis, she fought a long, tough battle. We would like to thank the staff and doctors at Selkirk Regional Health Centre and Health Sciences Centre for their care. A celebration of Elaine's life will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in the Selkirk Evangelical Lutheran Church, 329 Clandeboye Avenue. No flowers please. If desired, donations can be made to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Selkirk or to Before the Bridge Senior K9 Rescue (Box 11, Stony Mountain, MB R0C 3A0). I first met Elaine way way back in the 60's when I believed she worked for the Provincial Audit Office. Then she appeared again at the SMHC many years later. She was one of the nicest people one could ever meet and a great worker. I'm sorry to hear of her passing.
