LINDA LAURAINE WALLEGHAM (nee KARPOFF) August 16, 1934 - December 29, 2018 It is with heavy hearts that we announce Linda has joined her beloved husband Henry in Heaven. Although she rests in God's loving arms, she is deeply missed by those left behind. Linda was born in Whitemouth, Manitoba and was the daughter of Jacob and Ottilie (Merke) Karpoff. Linda worked as a dietician in the health industry in Winnipeg before retiring in 1989. She loved the outdoors including, fishing, gardening both vegetable and flowers, travelling to visit family members, crafting, listening to Elvis, and she never missed an opportunity to watch or hear the Winnipeg Jets play. Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory daughters, Sheila and Joyce (Dave), sons, Bruce (Kathie), Brian and Mark. She leaves behind her sister Carol (Norm) and brother Larry (Ann). She leaves her oldest granddaughter Samara, and her youngest granddaughter Haylee who she was exceptionally close to. She leaves behind 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue followed by memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019 officiated by Sean Sagert.
