THOMAS ALBERT (BERT) SANDERCOCK Peacefully, on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the Convalescent Home, in Winnipeg, MB, Bert Sandercock, aged 93 years, beloved husband of the late Ella, passed away. Full obituary to follow. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.

  • I was so sorry to hear of Bert's passing. I have so many happy memories of the Sandercock-Keating camping trips to Hecla. Bert and Ella were part of my childhood and I think I developed my love of gardening through Bert and the tours through his "forest". Bert was kind, generous of spirit and had a great sense of humor. He was also a loyal friend, as demonstrated through the 70+ year friendship with my Dad, Larry. Shelley, Blair and Garth - my thoughts are with you.
