GEORGE ALBERT BOYER It is with great sorrow that we announce on Thursday, January 10, 2019, our brother George Boyer, passed away peacefully after a long illness. George was born and raised in St. Laurent, MB and moved to various towns and cities for work. He was a very hard worker. He then joined the Army and was a soldier. When he was discharged he started looking for work. George found his job as a heavy machine operator and he worked at that job until he retired. George was a kind, gentle, loving man who loved his family and friends. Over the years he had made many friends that he kept in contact with and visited them up until his illness took over. George is predeceased by his father Raymond Sr., brothers, Glen, Roland, Johnny, Raymond Jr. and Russell and sister Nola, also his twin nieces, Helen and Jeralynn. George is survived by his mother Jean Boyer of Dauphin, MB, brothers, Frank (Irene), Gerald and Melvin, sister Doris, also niece Danielle and nephew Rodney and numerous nieces and nephews. A service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St., Winnipeg for family and friends that can't make it to St. Laurent, MB. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church, with prayers at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. George, we love you so much.
