Beverley came in to this world on January 14, 1951 and left us on January 14, 2019. She was born in Winnipeg. Her family was her most valued treasure. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she especially enjoyed her special one-on-one time with her grandchildren. Beverley loved to watch Christmas movies and romances, doing jigsaws puzzles on the computer and monthly lunches with their friends. Over the years, she was an avid crafter and developed a passion for quilting. She took great pride and put a lot of love in making quilts for her grandchildren. She enjoyed travelling and loved her trips with Joe. She was also looking forward to her upcoming trip to Arizona. She will be dearly remembered and missed by all who were fortunate to have known her. Rest in peace our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Memorial service will take place on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with interment and reception to follow. Our story starts when we were just kids, you lived down the street. I think we were only about 10 or so. Your house was always full and busy, with Dianne, Bill and Elaine and Mel. I remember being at your house when your mom told us she was pregnant with your sister Mel. We went on the bus downtown and bought baby booties. We survived the early teenage years and then your family moved to Estevan, Sask. and of course I bugged my Dad until we made a trip out to see your family. We kept in touch and when you returned to Wpg I had my brother (Joe) drive me to your house. I guess that was the start of your conversion from my friend to Joe's girlfriend and eventually wife. I was your maid of honor and you were mine, Godmother to both of my children, Megan and Kelly and then years fly by and we are grandmothers. You and Joe were always there for me through the years and your care for Dad when Mom passed away will never be forgotten. My thoughts are with Jason and Monica, Liz and Chis and your beautiful grandchildren, Kaydance, Jaxon and Logan. My condolences to Bev's brother and sisters and their families. Joe - our hearts are saddened with this terrible loss. Bev not only leaves a large hole in our family but a larger hole in our heart. Irene and Brent, Megan and Kelly and their families. - Posted by: Irene Peterson (Sister-in-law and friend ) on: Jan 17, 2019
