A celebration of Iola's life will take place on Saturday, January 26 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery) at 11:00 a.m. A longer obituary notice will follow in Saturday's paper. We just wanted to say how sad to lose your mom, but, a long and fulfilling life she had, so involved with the Icelandic community while she was able, working alongside her mom, sisters and brother in her mom's bakery!
