Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY ISABEL DAYMENT (STEEL) October 7, 1920 - January 17, 2019 With love, thoughtfulness and sadness, the family of Mary Dayment announce the passing of their dear mother, grandma, great-grandma and two grandma in her 99th year. Mom was predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Gladys Steel of Jessie Avenue, her beloved husband Bruce (1983), and loving son Gordie (1977), sister Helen, and brother Jerry. Left to remember this special lady is her daughter Pat and husband Tom Tait, grandchildren, Scott (Cindy), Cameron (Sandi) and Kathleen; along with her great-grandchildren, Tamara (son Bentley), Amber (daughter Jamie and son Nolan), Brennan and Madison. Mom will also be remembered by her nieces and dear daughter-in-law Eleanore and her family. Mom spent most of her married life on Traill Avenue in Silver Heights, Winnipeg, where she shared her love of family life with all of us. Mom spent 11 years at West Park Manor under the care and compassion of the staff on the 2nd floor. For this we are very thankful. A private family memorial reception will take place at a later date. Please remember Mom's love for yellow flowers - her favourite. We will miss you Mom - you will remain in our hearts forever. I remember Gladys and Gerald Steel from Jessie Avenue also Mary and Bruce and Helen. Pat, I remember when you would come over to visit your grandparents and your grandmother would tell me so I could come over to play with you. Probably going back 70 years or so. How a name will trigger a memory. It sounds like your mom had a long, fulfilling life. My mom Phyllis Allery passed away 10 years ago. My sympathy to you and your family. - Posted by: Susan Heim(Allery) (Old Jessie Ave neighbour) on: Jan 26, 2019
