Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID THOMAS MOWAT October 16, 1944 - January 22, 2019 It is with great sorrow that our family announces the passing of David Mowat after a tenacious battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lynn; children, Tim (Cheryl), Megan Mowat-Beaudoin (Geoffrey) and Hilary Fewster (Steve); grandchildren, Cash and Ryn Mowat, Brielle, Hylanne and Callum Beaudoin and James and Thomas Fewster; sister Donna Barling and his nephews, Ken and Rob Barling and their families. David was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Ruth Mowat. In lieu of flowers, donations to the palliative care unit at Riverview Health Centre would be greatly appreciated. An informal gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Headingley Recreation Centre located at 5353 Portage Avenue, to share in memories of Dave and to celebrate his life.
