LENA AGNES HARDER (nee BROWN) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt on January 26, 2019, with family by her side at the age of 89. Lena was predeceased by her husband George in 2010; son Donald; brothers Ray and Bob; and son-in-law Laurie. She will be immensely missed by her son Larry; daughter Roseann Gauthier; grandsons, Brad (Candace), Jeff (David); and great-grandchildren, Aiden, Madison, Aimee and Kirsten; her sister Joyce Nash from B.C.; sisters-in-law, Alma Brown, Nettie (Ray) Shultz; brother-in-law Henry Dormer; and nieces and nephews . Lena was born on June 12, 1929 and married her love, George, on May 24, 1947. Lena was a gentle, loving soul, loved by all who knew her. She struggled in her last years with health issues but always remained cheerful and positive. She beamed with joy from visits from her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Lions Personal Care home for their loving support and care over the past years where she resided. Cremation has taken place and a private interment service to follow. In lieu of flowers , those wishing to donate may donate to the charity of their choice.
