Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGIUSEPPE MORGANTE Giuseppe Morgante was born on July 26, 1936 and with great sadness passed away on February 2, 2019. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 58 years, Paolina Morgante; children, Giacomino (Angie), Giovanna (Romeo), Fortunato (Deborah) and Anna Maria; grandchildren, Justin (Karen), Joshua (Melanie), Jesse, Paolina, Adrian, Alia and Joshua. He is also survived by his brother Vincenzo (Maria) and sister-in-law Enza, Pina, Carmelina (Melino) and numerous nieces and nephews. Giuseppe was predeceased by his parents, Giacomino and Giovanna; sisters, Stefania, Antonia and Maria; brother Filippo; sisters-in-law, Maria Sgarlata and Grazia Esposito; brothers-in-law, Giuseppe Brambila and Mimo Corrao. Giuseppe was born in Termini Imerese, Sicily. He came to Canada in 1966 and settled in Winnipeg for the remainder of his life. A hardworking man, he worked various jobs including a custodian for the school division. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Calvary Temple, 440 Hargrave Street. Viewing will be held at 11:00 a.m. A special thanks to all the doctors and nurses at the St. Boniface Hospital especially in the last day in I.C.U. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 1-452 Dovercourt Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1G4 or Calvary Temple Youth Zone Ministry, 440 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 3A8. God has blessed me with an amazing family. The genuine unconditional love starting from God, that my parents gave me has molded me into who I am today. Papa had such a love for the Lord and in growing up opened up our hearts in pursuing a relationship with Jesus Christ. It is God's Will, God's way and my faith. In reflecting, we really need to not sweat the small things,and pick out the big things that really matter as today is never promised. We need to never sacrifice our hearts, family or our dignity. Isaiah 41:10. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am honored to be have been the daughter of this amazing and beautiful man Giuseppe Morgante. He touched and enriched all of our lives in many different ways. His outpouring love and admiration he had for God has been absolutely inspiring and heart-warming. My father was caring, thoughtful, hardworking, compassionate, loving, and had a strong desire to share the love of Jesus to others. My father was a man of great influence; I am one of those people whose life he impacted immensely.My fathers love for God, for his family, and others translated itself in so many ways as he planted seeds that will continue to grow within the lives of my family, in my youth ministry in Calvary temple and individuals within in Winnipeg and Italy. And so, because of his love brought light to others like a caring Sheppard, I want to say "Pappa Che dio ti bendicca e chi vediamo presto e rallegriamo in cielo con il nostro Jesu Cristo.
