ALICE JUNE MCMILLAN Born June 27, 1936 Deceased February 6, 2019 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Alice June McMillan on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Our dear mother, grandmother and friend, June, passed away peacefully at River Park Gardens Personal Care Home. June was born to Olive Marie and Robert William Harrison in Winnipeg, Manitoba on June 27, 1936. June is predeceased by her parents, her husband James (Jim) Hamilton McMillan and she leaves behind family, friends and loved ones who will miss her dearly. June loved her family deeply and nothing delighted her more than when family would take the time to visit with her. The family would like to thank the team of doctors, nurses and all the staff at River Park Gardens for their support and care of June over the last few years of her life; with special thanks to Angie and Jan, two of June's care providers of whom she had a special place for. Special thanks to Holly, Funeral Director at Seasons Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Chaplaincy with Fr. James Kofi Appiah at 37 Burrows Road in Pinawa, Manitoba, on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer Society Manitoba, or a charity of choice. Condolences may be left at seasonsfunerals.ca
