Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Bill and I have just found this notice of Aunt Henri's passing. We were so sorry to hear. Aunt Henri and Uncle Steve's visits were always such joyful and fun occasions. Bill's father (also named Bill Burdenie) was Uncle Steve's older brother. Bill's brother Jerry and sister Judy (the twins) also have such fond memories of Aunt Henri and Uncle Steve's visits and remember what fun they always had. We exchanged Christmas cards, letters and phone calls with Uncle Steve and Aunt Henri for many years and after Uncle Steve passed away, we kept in touch with Aunt Henri. But we lost touch a few years ago. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Aunt Henri's family. - Posted by: Bill and Margaret Burdenie (nephew and niece (in-law))) on: Apr 26, 2021

  • I met Henriette when I first started visiting my dad who resides on the same floor she was on. I adored her. She always had a warm smile and a hug when I went and said hi to her. My dad also adored her very much. She had the same first name as my paternal grandmother. I'm going to miss her very much and will always remember her. - Posted by: Roxanne Plante (Friend) on: Mar 16, 2019

  • Henriette will be missed by her many friends at Foyer. She knew how to make new residents feel welcome. Her warm smile and joking manner attracted other residents around the big round table where she sat and they would spend the day together. I very much appreciated her friendship and her positive spirit. The dining room will never feel the same without her. Heaven just got a whole lot more fun! Sincères condoléances à ses nièces qui était la pour elle. - Posted by: Danielle St. Amant Wookey (Retired recreation staff 2nd floor) on: Feb 14, 2019
