We will always remember our many road trips out to Minnedosa, and the generosity of the family with their fantastic cooking. Since A. Betty moved to Winnipeg, she was a constant presence at the extended family gatherings until the past few years, when health concerns prevented her from joining the gatherings. A. Betty was missed at these gatherings for her gentle nature and ever present smiles. Terry, Kirsti, Marikka and Tasha - Posted by: Terry Lee (Nephew) on: Feb 22, 2019

Brian, we are so sorry for your loss. Aunty Betty was a very special person. She had loads of 'might' packed into that little body of hers! It was great to see her knowledge, and passion for the sport of hockey, as well as her enthusiasm and expertise at the game of solitaire. She was a genuine person who was always very comfortable and easy to be around. When you were with Betty, you could always just 'be yourself'. She was a warm-hearted person who always enjoyed being around the 'little ones'. Sam and Bella especially enjoyed snuggling up with her on the sofa. We will always remember her warm smile and positive, welcoming, and happy spirit. We will miss Betty deeply, but are so grateful that she was a part of our life. Betty was a wonderful human being. She had a busy life working with her husband Robert in Minnedosa and raising 3 sons. It was a pleasure visiting her and family in Minnedosa. The entire family treated us well with great meals and hospitality. I will miss the scenic drive to Minnedosa and memories my family had in Minnedoa as young children. Thank you Brian for taking care of her; especially the last few years when Betty had serious health problems. Doug and Miranda - Posted by: Douglas G. Dare (Nephew) on: Feb 20, 2019
