STEVE GURAL December 27, 1927 - February 14, 2019 Steve 'Sonny' Gural passed away peacefully with family at his side on February 14, 2019 at St. Boniface Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his surviving siblings, brother Joe and sister Pat (Pete), along with his nieces, nephews and extended family. In 1927, Steve was born to parents, Dora and Nick in Kreuzburg (now Fraserwood), Manitoba. After the family moved to Winnipeg, he completed his education at St. John's High School and soon after graduating took up employment with W.G. McMahon where he worked until his retirement. Steve was a longtime member of C.P.A.C. where he volunteered many hours at the club. He was an accomplished bowler and avid sports fan and especially loved to watch the Toronto Maple Leafs. He spent many summer evenings going for walks which often ended up with him at Elmwood or Whittier Park watching a baseball game. He would never give up the opportunity to play a game of crib and his quick wit and banter will be missed at family gatherings.
