Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCYRIL BRAZEAU February 1, 1930 - February 22, 2019 After a lengthy illness, Cyril passed away. Cyril is survived by his wife Leone, daughter Therese St. Laurent (Louis), sons, Robert (Barb) and Gregory (Suzanna), nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one sister, three brothers, eight sisters-in-law, and one brother-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Cyril was predeceased by his parents, three sons, two sisters, four brothers, numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. As per Cyril's wishes, cremation has taken place. Prayers/Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4588 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg, MB at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Muscular Dystrophy Canada or Siloam Mission. We are so saddened to hear about the loss of a man that was like a brother to my father. He and your mom used to come for visits and chat about things that they loved in common-family and friends from back home, old time music, jokes. Your dad would video record at our gatherings. His radiant smile and comedic ways would liven up the parties. My dad would tell us how he would go buy bread and stop by Cyril's for a visit. They would reminisce about childhood memories. It never took them long to reacquaint. The last visit my dad had was very special. They both expressed how having each other was a gift. Unfortunately, my dad is not well enough to attend Cyril's service, and that is breaking his heart. Know that he is thinking of you all and thanking God for the blessing of your dad in his life.
