Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE L'HEUREUX (nee FONTAINE) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Alice L'Heureux, on February 24, 2019, at Tache Nursing Centre (Actionmarguerite), at the age of 81 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jerry, of 55 years (2010); grandson Derrick LaRoche; her parents; three brothers, and two sisters. Alice leaves to cherish her memory her five daughters, Patricia (Dan) Pries, Lucille, Lynne (Roger) Bothorel, Suzanne (Daniel) Lansard and Michelle (Fabien) LaRoche; grandchildren, Jeremie (Kim), Michael (Roxanne), Christian, Caroline (Shamus), Chantel (Paul), Joel (Francine), Janelle (Matt), Jordie (Bianca), Jaide, Patrick (Jess), Veronique (Andrew); and great-grandchildren, Skyler, Rylan, Casey, Jesse, Lucas, Landon, Emery, Jaxson, Jayden, Dominic and Eloise. She is also survived by her sisters, Agnes Joyal, Eva Berthelette and Irene (Olivier) Meilleur, as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Alice was a caring, beautiful person who enjoyed sunny days, family and always put others before herself. She has certainly passed on these qualities to her children. She was gorgeous, loving and funny in her own special way and could make you smile on the darkest of days. Mom was immensely proud of her family and leaves us with many great memories to cherish. The family is forever grateful for the support, compassion and loving care from all the staff at Tache Centre, in all departments, during Mom's residency. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mom's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 1379 Kenaston Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R3P 2T5. Condolences to Alice's daughters and their families. I know how hard it is to lose your mother, my thoughts are with you. Had lots of good times and laughs at Fab n Mimi’s cabin with Alice, especially the time we went across the lake in the boat and it was pouring rain. Sympathies to all of Alice's Family. I worked with Alice at Tache and there was never a dull moment when she was nearby! She always had me busting a gut and the days went by so much faster on the days she was working. What a beautiful person inside and out! RIP Alice, you're going to be a wonderful angel!
