EVA ROSE ADAMS June 24, 1918 - February 27, 2019 Eva died February 27, 2019 in her 101st year. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry in 1997, by her granddaughter, Robyn in 1985, and by her brother, George Ketter last year. She is survived by her son, Rick, daughter-in-law, Albina Moran, her niece, Joy Hildebrand and her family, Henry's nephews, Gary Bezte, Ron Ross and Greg Ross and their families, and by her devoted friend, Graham Orchard. Eva lived most of her life in the North End, graduating from St. John's High School. She and Henry worked hard all their lives, and were able to enjoy the fruits of their labours, travelling to Europe and Hawaii, and in Dad's retirement years, travelling each winter to Phoenix and Las Vegas. Eva lived at Misericordia Place for the last three years. We are so grateful to the many nurses and aides on 2N for the exceptional care they provided to Eva, and for the understanding, patience, and support they provided not only to her, but to us as well. There are so many to thank and some names would be missed if we tried to list them all; we will simply say thank you very much to all of you for your most professional work and for your kindness to Eva and to us. We also want to thank Barb and Victoria for their guidance on many fronts during Eva's stay. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Please, no flowers, but if you wish, do make a donation to a charity of your choice in Eva's memory. Her favourite charities were Ronald McDonald House, the Arthritis Foundation, and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
