Giovanni was predeceased by Gerarda, his devoted wife of 62 years. He is survived by his sons, Vincenzo and Michele (Marie); and by his grandchildren, Michael John, Adrianne and Tavia; and by his great-grandchild Sayde. Condolences will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue. Christian Burial will follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens at 1501 Waverley Street. Donations in Giovanni's name may be made to the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
