FLORENCE WHITE With deep sadness we announce the passing of Florence White, at the age of 88 years, on Saturday, March 2, 2019. Called "PeeWee" her entire life she was born in Shellbrook, SK on May 15, 1930 to the late Margaret and Walter Dolinsky. Predeceased by husband Howard, sisters, Marie, Dorothy, Gladys, and grandchild Denise. Survived by four children, Pat (Barb), Gail (Dan), Brian (Cecylia), Faye (Andrew), and 27 grandchildren. Florence spent the latter part of her life with Howard living in Lockport, enjoying bowling, bingo, and trying her darnedest to master a vegetable garden. Mom didn't have a green thumb but sure tried. Known for her cheesecake, butter tarts and matrimonial cake, we all enjoyed her baking for years. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB. Interment will follow in the St. Clements Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shaun Zbrog, Joseph Kluk, Mason Kluk, Paul Fotiuk, John Davidson, and Jim Decker. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethania Personal Care Home.
