Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEODEGARIO CRUZ Peacefully, with family by his side, on March 5, 2019, Leodegario 'Amang Gariong' Cruz joined our Creator and is now reunited with our 'Inang Ising' in heaven at the age of 96. Amang was born in San Dionisio Paranaque, Philippines on October 22, 1922. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his children, Auring, Nena (Amado), Efren (Baby), Rick (Ledy), Nick (Gecie), Evee (Rob), Gerry and Maris. Amang Gariong dedicated his life in caring for his family and was a loving grandfather to his grandchildren, JR (Robyn), Tracy (Alvaro), Eillene (Jhobert), RJ (Melissa), Melissa (JR), Melanie (Jay), Marchy (John), Gerice, Nico (Rochelle), Nickson and Nino. Great-grandfather to Tyson, Sevien, Jordan, Lily, Talon, Amelie, Isaac, Chloe, Scarlett, Bryson and Jorel. Prayers and viewing will be held on March 8, 2019 (Friday) at 7:00 p.m. and Mass of the Christian Burial will follow on March 9, 2019 (Saturday) at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua (Hungarian) Roman Catholic Church, 365 Burnell St., Winnipeg, MB (between St. Matthews Avenue and Portage Avenue) and will be celebrated by Fr. Diosdado Parenas. Pallbearers will be JR Dela Cruz, Jhobert Germono, Jason Inocencio, John Licmo, Alfie Panganiban and Dexter Pineda. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, MB. Following the interment, a reception and fellowship will be held at St. Anthony of Padua (Hungarian) Roman Catholic Church. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of the Intensive Care Unit and 5th Floor, North Wing of Grace Hospital, and St. Boniface Hospital for the excellent care they have provided to Amang Gariong.
