ELEANOR MARIE WHEELER 1928 - 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, age 90, on March 7, 2019, at Tuxedo Villa, after a long and valiant battle with Alzheimer disease. Eleanor Marie Wheeler (Ellie) was born in Winnipeg on November 6, 1928. She married our dad Frank on September 12, 1945 and together they raised their two daughters, Janice and Lori on Farwell Bay in Fort Garry. Mom was an incredibly strong, determined and loving woman. We will miss her. Mom was predeceased by her husband Frank, her brother Don and wife Dot, her sister Donaldeen and husband George Hall. She is survived by daughters, Janice (Bob), and Lori (Larry), four treasured grandchildren, Marci, Meghan, Aaron and Sara, and one special great-granddaughter Braelyn. A celebration of Mom's life will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In The Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Flowers gratefully declined, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society, 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C2 or to Diabetes Canada, 401-1 Wesley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C6.
