IRIS MARTHA SOLONIUK (nee FOSTER) Iris Martha Soloniuk (nee Foster), aged 84 of Winnipeg, passed away on March 9, 2019. She was born April 13, 1934 to the late William Foster and Evelyn Risbey. Iris will be forever remembered by her husband of 66 years, Mike Soloniuk and their children, Evelyn (Tim), Dale (Delma), Mark (Deanna) and Wendy (Calvin), nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Karen, granddaughter Susie and brothers, Russell, Bill and Harry. Iris worked for many years at Boeing. She loved flowers, knitting and crochet, and most of all her children. A memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or an organization of your choice.
