Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCECILE ALPHONSINE PROULX (née AUGER) On Monday, March 11, 2019, at Foyer Valade, Cécile Proulx joined God at the age of 92. Cécile is survived by her two daughters and two sons, Juliette (William), Daniel (Doris), Philippe (Yolande) and Thérèse (Gary). She enjoyed her three granddaughters, Francine, Pamela and Rochelle, and her grandson Travis; as well as her great-grandsons, Theron, Gavyn, and Quinlan. She was predeceased by her husband Hector Louis Proulx, and her parents, Wilfred and Helena. Cécile was born in Dollard, Saskatchewan and moved to Winnipeg where she worked at the St. Boniface Hospital as a housekeeper, where she met Hector through a friend at work. They married in July, 1945, moved to Otterburn, MB and started their family. Later they settled in Winnipeg, raised their family and she lived out the remainder of her life. Cécile enjoyed Saturday night cards, spent hours crafting and doing puzzles. She was a phenomenal homemaker. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 15, 2019 at Parish of Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens, 289 Dussault Street, Winnipeg, MB. We would like to thank Foyer Valade for their care of Mom.
