DAVID WILLIAM FAIRLIE March 20, 1948 - March 8, 2019 It is with broken hearts that we mourn the sudden passing of David William Fairlie, on March 8, 2019, at the age of 70. David will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Barb of 48 years, his children, Jeff (Verna), Bob (Stacey) and Heather (Lance) and his greatest pride, his grandchildren, Shianne, Jordan, Stevan, Ethan, Everett, Corbin, Bobbie, Ryan and Elena. Also left to mourn his memory are his sisters, Betty Anne Fairlie, Janet Coggan (Blair) and Maureen Johnson; brothers-in-law, Gordon Jones (Marie) and Jerry Jones (Debbie); mother-in-law Beulah Jones (Clayton) and numerous nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his son Ryan (2005), mother Margaret (2013), father John (1961), father-in-law Lloyd (1988) and brother-in-law Bryan (2008). A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlands Community Hall, Woodlands, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations to Warren United Church, Box 324, Warren, MB R0C 3E0; Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 1379 Kenaston Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R3P 2T5; or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.   • It was a sad moment when I learned of Davids's passing. I enjoyed working with David while he was a trustee chairman with the school division. You could rely on David to make realistic, common sense decisions regarding issues in my department ( buildings ) and transportation.
