JEAN MOORHEAD March 14, 2019 Jean was born in the seaside resort Brighton, England in the Roaring Twenties. During the Second World War, Jean worked with the Women's Auxiliary and met the love of her life Charles Moorhead and became a war bride returning to Canada where they raised their daughters, Sheila and Vivian. Charles retired from the Canadian forces in 1963 and the family settled in Winnipeg. Up until Charles' passing, Jean and Charles enjoyed dancing all of their married life from Ballroom and Square dancing up to Disco and Line dancing. Jean's health declined in recent years and the decision was made to place her in a nursing home. We wish to thank the wonderful staff at 2 North, West Park Manor for the loving care they gave our mom. Left to mourn are her daughters, Sheila Harris and Vivian Moorhead and grandson Tim Harris, Yvonne and Hector Saavedra. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the charity of your choice. A private family gathering will take place. NEIL BARDAL FUNERAL CENTRE 204-949-2200 neilbardalinc.com
