I have such fond memories of Mrs Sholdra as she always had a beautiful smile and a welcoming way about her. She was a wonderful neighbour and years later was still a great friend to our mom. Sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Our paths had crossed a few times in the last years as my Mom (Jean Arondeus) shared time with Bernie. Bernie had not really changed a bit. She still had her beautiful skin, her infection laugh, the twinkle in her eyes and her wonderful sense of humour. As a kid growing up on the street just 2 houses away, we always knew where we could find our mom if she wasn't at home after school...she was at Bernie's having coffee. Sandra and family, so sorry to hear about your Mom. I always admired her joy of life. She had a wonderful sense of humour and a great laugh. I have many nice memories of when we were kids and neighbours and our Moms had coffee together. I know how hard it is to loose your Mom.
