EVELYN ANNE LAURSEN 1916 - 2019 Evelyn passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the age of 103. She had a rewarding career as accountant and office manager of CKY Radio Station for 32 years, and previous to that, worked and modelled for Eaton's Department Store. Evelyn was a talented seamstress, designing many of her own clothes and those of her family. She had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed listening to music from her extensive music collection. Evelyn's unconditional and unbounded love of her entire multi-generational family, was constantly reflected back to her in unsurpassed love. She was revered throughout her long, full and accomplished life, for her grace, kindness, quiet intelligence, beauty inside and out, and for her commitment to family. Evelyn was predeceased by her father Christian, her mother Alma, her sisters, Edith (Bunnie) Turner and Marguerite Wells, and her brothers-in-law, Bob Turner and Jack Wells. She leaves to mourn, her nieces, Karen Turner, Jan Hamaoka and Lauren Chapman and her nephews, John Wells, Rob Turner and Richard Wells, as well as her great-nieces and nephews and a great-great-niece and nephews.
