Auntie Sheila, I will always remember your contagious laughter. You brought a lot of life into a room with your smile. I often think about what it was like growing up as my Mother's best friend, spending summers in Ponemah. When I was a child I remember going to you parents cottage at the end of the street from ours, on Norway Avenue. I remember a lot of fun visits and gatherings with our families. I even remember how beautiful you looked on your wedding day. I love you, & will always remember all these things when I visit the beach. - Posted by: Kristin (Coy) O'Hearn (Friend of the family/family) on: Mar 27, 2019

Our condolences to Sheila's family and those who loved her. Hearing of her passing was unexpected. She was a good and caring person and although we hadn't spoken in many years, we will remember many fond memories of her. Rest well Sheila. - Posted by: Belinda & Dave (Friends) on: Mar 27, 2019

My heartfelt condolences to Dianne, Linda & Families in this difficult time. Sheila was my soul sister. The best friend anyone could of wished for. Sheila had such a generous heart. She genuinely cared and was interested in everything going on in my life. We had a very special bond ever since we met at Ponemah Beach, at around the age of 5 or 6. I remember as children, we would play every chance we got. We became lifelong friends. We were family and her family felt like my family. My heart is heavy, but there are so many wonderful memories and each one puts a smile on my face. I find my heart becomes a little lighter, having a little chuckle as I remember her sense of humor. She was one person who could lift your spirits instantly if you were down. Sheila saw the brighter side of everything. She will be sadly missed more than words could ever express, but I'm so grateful and blessed to have known her. She will always be with me in my heart. - Posted by: Charlene Ingbritson (Friend) on: Mar 26, 2019
